What is The ComedySportz High School League?hscircle-rectangle

The ComedySportz High School League is the largest and most successful improv training program for high school students in the country. Locally, it is comprised of various teams of high school performers from different schools all around the greater Twin Cities area. Under the coaching of a professional ComedySportz Player, the student performers train in both showmanship and sportsmanship with the ultimate goal of putting on a live ComedySportz High School League Improv Match at their school, community center, or at our ComedySportz Arena. The option of performing more than one match is available.

Each team will have the option of adding themselves to the ComedySportz High School League Tournament held at our ComedySportz Arena in March.

Why ComedySportz?

The ComedySportz High School League provides an extracurricular activity that goes beyond the stage and into everyday situations. When students are trained in ComedySportz improv, they are trained in communication, confidence, quick thinking, individuality, and teamwork. The High School League teaches these skills in a safe and nurturing environment where “winning the match” is a distant second to taking risks and personal growth.
